Lead, guide and supervise a team of polymer chemists for the development of new products and product optimisation

• Optimise existing products for improved performance, costs and sustainability
• Regular assessment of new polymer chemistries and processes that meet current and future needs
• Ensuring timely progress of R&D activities
• Address gaps in performance of current products and future needs of the business
• Conduct research on new raw materials and technologies to improve our products
• Develop sustainable, eco-friendly and biobased emulsions
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure successful commercialisation of new products
• Scale up and amplify innovation in products
• Provide technical training to sales team
• Create and maintain accurate records of experiments, data and results
• Analysing the operations for the improvement in the existing products based on literature search, market trends, and technical understanding
• Coordinating the entire product development including feasibility of resource analysis, finalizing specifications, designing, testing activities
• Translating customer requirements into well developed & accepted product
• Standardization of products at pilot plant for production & further scale up to commercial scale
• Developing testing procedures/systems
• Identifying the areas of obstruction/quality failures & taking necessary corrective measures
• Responsibilities of providing technical services with corrective/preservative actions for any complaint received from the client
• Design product TDS & MSDS while incorporating tests data and product features, applications, and benefits
• Work in tandem with application team to check product features in end product
