Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Product Portfolio Management
  • Responsible for complete product portfolio & lifecycle management
  • Implement phase-in / phase out plans
  • Work closely with sales team and understand the market demand
  • Facilitate market gain in key avenues and Lead Product Positioning
  • Build and execute Product Roadmaps
  • Make business plans and Products vision – Annual & next 3 Year plans
  • Manage technical partnerships (Central R&D) for existing products and new product pipeline creation
  • Evaluate feasibility of new markets / products through Research and Field Testing (application endurance)
  • Product and Sales Compliance
  • Lead Homologation (Product Certification and Approvals) process across multiple regions and product categories
  • Support Technically for the Institutional business, Govt. Tenders, State and Central Subsidy
  • Industry & Customer Intelligence
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, Competition, Authorities (regulatory), and technology steps and adopt product plans accordingly
  • Initiate consumer research as needed
  • Understanding end user usage conditions and manage portfolio to fit the requirements
  • Identify product gaps and liaison with regional and global team to refine features for appropriate applications
  • Sales Enablement & Marketing support
  • Lead product demos, webinars, exhibitions, trade shows and support to build collateral, create outbound messages and newsletters
  • Support Sales training (digital and physical) and drive product value selling
  • Requires deep understanding on how businesses functions and how to deliver value to customers and the organization.
  • Good project management skills
  • Working relationship with sales and dealer’s network
  • Ability to lead a small team of certification / testing engineer
