Job description

Identification / Selection of potential vendors through professional evaluations.
Vendor Capability & Capacity assessment basis current production volumes and future projections / forecasts.
Stake holder’s management among variable functions.
Manufacturing feasibility analysis (Plastics, sheet metal, Rubber, Packaging, PCBA etc.,)
APQP during project initiation.
Fair costing knowledge in (Plastics, sheet metal, Rubber, Packaging etc.)
Organizing/Participation in DFMEA, DFM, DFA, PFMEA sessions among R&D and Industrial teams.
Proactive approach in anticipating the risk & arrival of mitigation plan in advance.
Trouble shooting & Proactive actions for all tooling related challenges
Ensure right quality Moulds & Dies development with vendors
Tooling Buy off & Documentation from vendors (Local & Abroad).
PPAP, PFD, Control Plan, Work Instruction, Packaging (Process establishment & Documentation @ Supplier site)
VAVE, DfX, execution of VAVE/DfX workshop ideas to meet cost saving / quality improvement targets
Business case viability enhancement through CAPEX optimization of Moulds, Tool, Dies, Jigs fixtures, Gauges & BOM analysis.

Requirements

Experience Range : 8 - 12 Years.

Qualifications : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.E Mechanical Engineering / PMP certification highly desired

Preferred Industry : Appliances / Automobile / Engineering / Electrical / Auto Ancillary
