The primary responsibility of the role is to define those Legal Entity Management (LEM) activities, that can be centralized and standardized across EMEA region and support the Country LEM teams in those defined activities for the local legal entities.
The success criteria in the role is the ability to coordinate and effectively manage the offshored activities in delivering successful results to the local LEM teams.
The Finance reporting lead analyst role is an integral part of the newly established centralized EMEA LEM support Team.
EMEA LEM Support team works closely with other areas of Citi, including local country finance, FRSS and control teams.
Run the BAU of the centralized activities
Trusted partner to the EMEA local LEM teams and wider finance functions
Manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas
Communicate with peers within the firm
Deliver the pre-defined range of services to the EMEA region
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within Finance and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the Finance department
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
The role will expose the candidate to:

Minimum Bachelors’ degree from Finance
Chartered Accountant, ACCA or equivalent preferred
Qualification with more than 4 years of experience
An energetic and highly motivated self-starter with an assertive character, a hands-on approach and who aspires to being a key contributor in a dynamic team environment of professionals
A pro-active team player who has the ability to champion Finance initiatives to successful conclusion
Strong interpersonal and management skills are essential
Displays clear accountability and ownership of tasks and responsibilities
Financial Controller with extensive knowledge and understanding of Legal management activities.
Experience with managing offshored activities and liaising with internal stakeholders and auditors
Minimum of 2 years experience in Finance/ Audit
Professional approach and excellent financial control and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills with professional and
diplomatic approach to reengineering, project management and change management
Excellent teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work independently as appropriate
Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to coordinate and manage across multiple deliverables and stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills and high level of attention to
Ability to engage subject matter experts (internal and
external) to address and resolve issues
Excellent English language
