The purpose of this role is to develop, establish and implement Application technology in the Manufacturing Industries market segment to assist growth of business in Sale of gases. The applications would mainly be at industries involved in metal fabrication, cutting & other metal joining processes.

• Promoting industrial gas-based solutions in identified growing segments (e.g., metal fabrication, cutting & other metal joining processes.)
• Achieving MI (AT) key targets assigned by immediate line Manager AT (MI).
• Enhance application based/value added selling.
• Meet prospective customers in assigned geography in order to understand the technical requirement of customers (Visit weld shop, understand weld quality procedures, understand process documents).
• Qualify the prospects to move to the next level of engagement.
• Coordinate with customer & internal stake holders for demonstration / trial readiness/trials
• Monitor and inform competitor activities and strategies.
• Work closely with Merchant business team, Customer Engineering Service (CES) team and customers to establish the application technology, implementation at customer site.
• Developing and guiding Welding Specialists to achieve key deliverables and business goals.
• Enhancing the technical sales knowledge of the local sales team through training and practical demonstrations.
• Techno commercial support in wining new business for our Merchant business group.
• Active Participation and support in commissioning of installations and new start-ups.
• Find out new customer for application development in the Market.
• Tech services and value-added services at customer place to strengthen our market presence and customer retention.
• Techno-commercial feasibility study and evaluation of new leads in Manufacturing Industries.
