The Data/Information Mgt Int Anlst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities:
Understand ad-hoc business requirement emanating from region, Country, or local business units
Identify underline data requirement and Prepare Functional Specs
Develop the solution by using appropriate tool/technology including VBA, MS Excel, SAS and BI Tools.
Perform UAT and seek business Signoff on the results before delivery.
Ability to understand the business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication with business partners
The individual should possess the ability to work in teams and display a proactive learning attitude
He/She should be Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working in teams with high growth potential and involved in transitioning the highly complex and critical projects
A flexible, positive, and mature mindset to deal with ambiguities of complex business problems is a must
Qualifications:
6-10 years relevant experience
Graduate /MCA from reputed institute with good understanding of SQL, Microsoft office, SAS or any other programming language and ability to manage large data.
Experience in SAS, SQL, Tableau, Sales Force, VBA Automation, MIS, System Development or in data analytics.
Good Communication Skills.
Presentation of results: The individual would be expected to independently design presentations to summarize the result of MIS deep dive/analysis
Business Knowledge: develop an understanding of the domain/function
The individual is expected to develop domain expertise in his/her work area
Teamwork: Develop cross-site relationships to enhance leverage of ideas
Exposure to Citi products and Incentive calculations would be an added advantage.
Big data and machine learning experiences are (R, Python etc.)
Education:
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
