1.Category P&L Management and Business Planning: - Deliver on category targets (Turnover, sales volume, market share, margins, EBIT).
2. Product life cycle management: - Analyze consumer need –gap and trends to build on the existing product line up.
3. Long term portfolio management and new product development: - Define product road map for meeting India business objectives in the long term - Align India requirements of new products with regional team and road map.
4. Visit markets to understand the local market nuances & create suitable go to market approach - Develop in depth insights on category through market Intelligence and understanding the consumer evolving trends and need gaps Benchmark competition (product, price, promotions, distribution) to derive short-term action measures and mid-/long-term strategies for India product portfolio.
5. Go- to Market Planning and execution: - Develop complete go to market (GTM) plan for new launches (new product category, new initiatives, any strategic projects).
6. Sales target planning and deployment: - Create and deploy sales budget for the year in collaboration with the sales head -Collaborate with sales leadership team a. To ensure execution and delivery of territory wise sales budget on a monthly basis b. To find out opportunities beyond budget and develop marketing plan and review mechanism c. To develop new market
7. Sell-in and sell-out schemes formulation: - Formulate the sell-in and sell-out scheme in line with business objective – Review periodically delivery and effectiveness of schemes and take corrective actions.
8. Launch Management: - Devise launch program for successful introduction of new launches - Align all key stakeholders on critical deliverables and responsibilities - Review periodically on the progress of the launch program in pre-launch phase
9. Overseeing broader stocks levels and driving proactive discussions in S&OP meeting for festive planning with adequate stock coverage.
10. Pricing Strategy: - Devise pricing strategy keeping in min brand propositions in the market and identify pricing
