Uses retail sales expertise to support key sales efforts within assigned geography. Develop large opportunities and provides sales support to distributors, stockists, retailers and Field Sales Team. Represent the Company in all market creation activities (includes seminars, sales calls, Road shows and training).
a) Develop, implement, and manage a business plan to meet or exceed corporate objectives and sales goals in assigned geography. (weekly/monthly/yearly)
b) Map Territory and Identify opportunities for growth.
c) KPI setting & action plan deployment for the territory.
d) Define local go to market strategy as per opportunities in the geography.
e) Planning and execution of retail merchandising objectives and needs
f) Provide direction, training, mentoring, coaching, and feedback to Field Sales Team and Channel partners (CPs)
g) Channel management & development. Identify, evaluate, recommend and train new CPs.
h) Work closely with sales team to set sales goals and objectives for territories and CPs.
i) Review sales team / CPs on a daily / weekly basis on their set goals.
j) Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies and / or programs by the field force in the region.
k) MIS, Feedback on competition and market dynamics
l) Retention of team members
m) Work closely with other cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business.
n) Perform other related duties as assigned.
